Pasta med tomatsås balsamico
For the roasted cherry tomato recipe: Preheat the oven to °F. Set out a large rimmed baking sheet. Rinse and dry the cherry tomatoes. Cut in halves. Then place on the baking sheet. Drizzle the olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the top of the tomatoes.

Directions. Whisk 1/4 cup vinegar, oil, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Add tomatoes, onion and basil (or parsley); stir to combine. Refrigerate, stirring once or twice, for at least 1 hour. Add pasta and the remaining 2 tablespoons vinegar and toss well to coat.

Tuck in the basil leaves between the slices, and sprinkle or arrange a few more on top. Season: Drizzle the olive oil over the salad and grind a little black pepper on top. Let the salad rest briefly—no more than 5 to 10 minutes. Right before serving, sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt on top (optional).
